Joseph Phelps - Napa Valley Red Wine "Insignia"

L’"Insignia" di Joseph Phelps è un vino simbolo della Napa Valley, considerato uno dei primi grandi tagli bordolesi americani e apprezzato per la sua straordinaria eleganza e longevità.
La vinificazione prevede l’assemblaggio di Cabernet Sauvignon con Merlot, seguito da un lungo affinamento in barrique di rovere francese che dona complessità e profondità.
Alla vista si presenta di un colore rubino intenso con riflessi granato, al naso esprime note avvolgenti di frutti neri maturi, cioccolato, tabacco e spezie, mentre al palato è corposo, vellutato, con tannini fini e un finale lungo e persistente.
Perfetto in abbinamento a piatti di carne rossa, arrosti importanti, selvaggina e formaggi stagionati, è un vino che rappresenta l’eccellenza californiana nello stile internazionale.
