Il Barolo "Priore" di Cantine Povero è un vino austero e maestoso, espressione autentica delle Langhe e del vitigno Nebbiolo. La vinificazione prevede una lunga macerazione sulle bucce e un affinamento di almeno 38 mesi, di cui una parte in botti di rovere, per esaltare complessità e struttura. Alla vista si presenta con un colore granato profondo. Al naso rivela profumi complessi di viola appassita, spezie dolci, cuoio e liquirizia. Al palato è elegante, strutturato, con tannini importanti e ben integrati, e un finale persistente e armonico. Perfetto in abbinamento con brasati, selvaggina, formaggi stagionati e piatti ricchi della cucina tradizionale.
