"Sperss" di Gaja è un Nebbiolo di grande classe e profondità, proveniente dai vigneti situati a Serralunga d'Alba, in una delle zone più vocate per il Barolo. Vinificato con cura estrema, prevede fermentazione in acciaio e un lungo affinamento in barrique e botti grandi, che ne esaltano l’eleganza e la longevità. Alla vista si presenta con un colore rosso granato intenso. Al naso esprime un bouquet complesso di frutti rossi maturi, viola appassita, liquirizia, spezie dolci, tabacco e sentori minerali. In bocca è profondo, strutturato, con tannini fitti ma vellutati e un finale lungo e persistente. Ideale con brasati, selvaggina, arrosti e formaggi stagionati.
